Woman Empowerment ~ Mary Magdalene suggested, that Jesus was a Master of Breathe, and this Teaching after His Death was LOST
Before reading this article, most of you might be saying to yourself, "How could anything so simple as perfecting one's breathe be so significant?
What most of us fail to recognize about Him, is that Jesus was a master practitioner of “Breath”.
Before I go on to tell you about Mary and Jesus, I had a dream when I was in my early 20’s when I met Jesus.
What I am teaching here about breathe, is what I discovered from seeing Him in my dream. Jesus breathed constantly from His heart Chakra. It was a continuous practice He did all of the time.
So how did I know in my dream that Jesus had perfect long loving and not short fearful breath. No wonder pilot was so impressed with this man from Galilee. Because as I saw him walk, I have never seen any other person when he walked, walk His way. For when he walked, his body flowed, and his movements were so graceful, as I saw Jesus walk.
According to the lost gospel of Jesus, Mary in her ancient apocrypha writings, “The Gospel of Mary Magdalene”, in the interpretation of it in “The Secret Teachings of Mary Magdalene”, by Claire Nahmad & Margaret Baily, is when Mary suggested, “it is the breath, then, plays a crucial part in the opening the door to the spiritual worlds. We cannot attune to our soul without the aid of the breath and we cannot release ourselves from the grip of matter without attuning to the soul. Our soul ascends on our breath. “
Another quote from John could sum up Jesus' pronouncement on the power of breath.
John 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Interestingly enough, when Jesus spoke He spoke in parables so only those who were enlightened would understand its meaning, He and any Scriptorium of His day knew that the Hebrew word ruach meant “wind,” “breath,” or “spirit.” So wind in the above quote could have been interpreted as the Holy Ghost is received to a person through one's breathe. And in particular deep loving breath.
John 20:22, And with that He breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit”. Even Jesus taught His disciples the means whereby the Holy Spirit came unto them, which was through breathing deeply from the heart center or your heart chakra.
Luke 17:21 Nor will they say, “Look, here it is”, or “There it is. For you see, the kingdom of God is within you”. Yes, and the kingdom of God is discovered through each person’s breath. Yes and in applying breathe, we human beings are all alike.
Mary continues, “The breathe of life is Love and the ‘One breathe’ unites us in one whole body of light’ leading to nous (us), at the center of our being”. She suggests that we are all ONE in breathe, every man, women and child. And Jesus said it in the Garden ‘That we all might become ONE’ (one breath).
The reason I continually share the “Power of Breath” with you in my blog, is to illustrate how breathe is not a simple thing. Breath is more powerful than most of us could ever imagine.
And through Micro Meditation practice by constantly applying long breathe, into as many daily situations such as applying your 5 senses, is what Jesus did and taught. To which I might add that when one perfects his or her breath as Jesus did, that is how they can experience Heaven on Earth.
This friend of Heart, with all the wars and chaos of our day, it was Jesus’ teaching of “one breath”, that we lost and needs to be found.
Thanks to brain research we are finding that Westerners and in fact, most people on earth over the ages, have been living in the wrong location of their mind.
Brain researchers suggest that most often head people live in a kind of hell. What they have discovered is that there are principally 3 areas a person can live. So that is why you want to fire it as CEO and hire your body to lead you into a happier life.
Unfortunately, the majority of our human population and by the way they are unhappy due to our cultural attachments towards doing and having, live located in the TOP LEFT quadrant of their brain. The problem is that this location is a judgmental, fear driven mind. That is why we tend to make so many unhappy comparisons of what we don’t have, rather than being happy with what we have.
And, occasionally, when a person out of fear gets angry, she enters the brain stem called the Reptilian brain which is located at the bottom of the spine. That is when anger sets in and adrenaline flows. People don’t realize that being angry is like taking heroin and it becomes a depressant once one finally settles down.
These two brains are where head people dwell most of their lives. Researchers suggest that this location is not a place of where you want to be live. Unfortunately, researchers discovered that these two locations are places from where most adult humans exist.
Yes it is a place that researchers would compare to as hell on earth, and they state it is a place where addictions begin. Somehow, most people have lived here so long that most feel this place is normal, even though it is not a happy place to live.
However, there is a more preferable region which you within 30 days of practice; you can enter full time.
So where is that desirable mind location? It resides in the center of your brain. In fact, children as they come to earth frequent that area most of the time. This is what Jesus meant by us becoming a child again. He was pointing to the fact, that changing one’s mind location, from the upper location to the more central region, where the body’s automatic system operates (and hence become a body person), is where one can experience Heaven on Earth.
So children, until they are enticed by us adults through our judgement and criticisms (were body majors) but before they switched into the upper left region, they were living in a happy state of mind. Once they entered that upper region as we criticized and judged them, we created for them the same unhappy lives in which most of us adults live.
The goal of this blog is to help you live more within a more preferable region at the minds center and less often within that TOP LEFT region. Sometimes this region can be called, “the third eye” of the pineal gland at the center of the brain.
We all get sidetracked and enter the Top Left, but to become AWAKE, means that you have learned how to leave that left quadrant through Micro Meditation, and through 30 seconds or less of breathe, and once again, re-enter the center part of the brain.
Our goal is to teach how to live within that center region and how to live their permanently. This is what being within your body is all about. This is why Micro Meditations are so important a practice.
So how does living within this center mind feel? Have you ever watched either a sunset or a sunrise? Have you ever in the morning heard the birds sing? Have you ever received a hug from someone you love? Guess what. In doing any of those things you entered the center region of your mind.
Don’t those events make you feel wonderful and ALIVE? Well that is what a body person experiences all the day long. That is the world in which Jesus lived too. As one becomes born again as He suggested, a person’s joy becomes real, as one return’s to live like a child again.
The problem is we enter that region only once in a while, but it is not a permanent place for most of us to reside.
The center region is what is referred to as experiencing heaven on earth. It is a loving mind it is a calm and relaxed place for a human to live. And guess what, is a very pleasant location too so when you are living a life of sensing you are living within that center region of your brain.
The goal here is within 30 days is for you to do your daily practice to moving from the LEFT part of your brain, into the center region, and into this new way of living.
Can you and I live dominantly within that region? Yes we all can if we know how to get there and then remain there. The goal is for you to practice daily using both physical and breathe techniques to live within your body senses or the center of your mind daily up to 30 days.
Why 30 days? It is because it takes 30 days for any habit to exist. If you get lost, you are skilled enough and have learned how to reenter that center brain region again.
Here is a warning. While you attempt to switch towards being more sensual and becoming more rooted in your body, the TOP LEFT portion of your mind or the judgmental portion will hit you with so much shame and guilt thoughts, that if you don’t watch out you may decide to give up.
This TOP LEFT region is what is commonly known as the EGO and that mind wants you to remain in its power, because it is a monopolist, it is a DICTATOR and wants to monopolize its control over you.
However, you can’t give in to its ploys. Ignore its guilt and shame feelings as you explore your more sensual body side. Realize that being sensual is part of living within that Central region. This is the center mind body portion that enjoys pleasurable activities.
In essence what you have done by adding Micro Meditation of 30 minutes or less frequently throughout your day: is that this simple practice has moved you away from a tyrant upper mind to a lover mind region. Using deep breath within 30 seconds or less, moves you into experiencing this center brain region.
It is sometimes referred to as the Mammalian mind, which is a loving mind region which will soon become a pleasant place to live. In fact, it can feel like you are experiencing Heaven on Earth. Something that few people know even exists.
This was a region in which Jesus taught his disciplines how and where to live. Jesus was ahead of His time because he knew the best mind region for a human to live. He also understood how the brain chemistry works towards creating a pleasant sensual natural body experiences for its host. He taught people how to experience Heaven and taught them to enter that center region, while they lived in the flesh.
He also suggested that if everyone could life this way within the center mind region which is in fact a more loving place, where we all could experience Heaven on Earth. The problem was that the powers to be were TOP LEFT mind junkies and hated their own bodies and lived within their wrong minds and in the end, they killed him.
The reason I believe that they killed Him is because I feel that those miserable people; could not stand allowing such a happy person like Jesus to live.
Being a body person is all about choosing to be HAPPY and creating the best use of one’s time. It is also about choosing this above title, “I have all the Time in the World”. Most people live from what I hear them say, and accepting the drama of the external world and its rush, “I don’t have any Time”.
The main reason for my more relaxed attitude on time, is because I don’t consistently watch time, while those who are time watchers, never have enough time to spend. That is why my ability to live in the present daily, is much easier for me than most. So let’s get onto the importance as to why you too might want to live this way.
I never knew the madness of time watching until I got rid of my watch. I seldom understood how it could make me into an unhappier person until I removed my wrist watch and it’s watching from my life. After that key event, is when I became a more relaxed person to be around?
In fact, I would ask you if you are serious towards entering this body world like me, that you give or throw your watch away. If it is expensive donate it to the Salvation Army and keep a receipt so you can take the original cost off your taxes.
I ended my own time watching madness as I was mentored by a Billionaire friend at the age of 21. He never wore a watch. People worked around his time and he never worked around theirs. So I swore never to wear a watch again. In fact, this started me off onto becoming a true body person. After I had applied such a drastic measure, did I accomplish much, you may ask?
Well today, I have a Ph. D. and most of my working life I have made a respectable income. What is also interesting is that I get more done because I spend more time doing essentials and less time on doing what is urgent. So refusing to wear a watch has never reduced my success.
To be successful as a body person, your first step is for you to retire your watch today. After doing this, within a few days or a week, I promise you will experience greater happiness and well-being. Still, what is interesting is that you not only will convert into being happier but you will become even a more productive person.
Also if you give up your watch, what is more important is that you will realize that this whole process of watch-watching; is an addiction. And as you know, addictions of any kind are no of value to anyone.
Some jobs require you to be time sensitive. However, if your job demands it, don’t panic, use your cell phone, or have a clock in your office, but stop watching it constantly. If you have an important meeting, set your alarm to go off before a meeting. This way you can concentrate on your work, without having to clock watch, because clock watching is a complete waste of time.
In fact, that is where the word watch came from, it is because people are watch-watching addicted. Theoretically speaking, Einstein stated, “Time is an illusion” and many scientist were time watchers and after his pronouncement they were angry with him. But if you expect to become a serious body-dweller (which by the way Einstein was), you need to stop clock watching. So how did Westerners begin their time stocking start?
The clock entered the Western World during the Industrial Revolution. It was the owners of the factories that used the clock to control their workers. In fact, when the white man arrived in the West it was our addiction to time that the Native American saw was our weakness.
Soon I will share with you a Native American Comedy on the “time piece” or watch much like the one above and how the clock overruns us and created and even today creates so such insanity in our lives.
I want to share a Native American Comedy so you get the main point as to the craziness of you and I (in my past) being a time watcher.
One of the Indian chiefs created a Comedy where all of the tribe watched in full enjoyment.
It began while he was supposedly asleep in a Teepee and had his horse by its side. He had a table and chair and food next the Teepee too. He is in the Teepee and lying down as if he were asleep. Soon his watches timer rings, he jumps up and stumbles as he puts on his white man clothes and then straightens his cowboy hat and stumbles out of the tent.
Next he jumps onto his chair and almost falls off it. He then gets a bowl and pours in milk adding something like bread, and proceeds to force some bread and milk food down his throat. After eating he pulls a watch out of his pants reads it again, and jumps out of the chair running all around the table and is beside himself.
And in the mean-time all of the tribe of men, women and children are rolling on the ground in laughter.
He looks at his watch again taking it out of his pant pocket, and sees he is late for work. He then jumps on his horse and makes a mad dash into the sunset.
Afterwards, there proceeds a huge ballyhoo of laughter among all of his tribe members.
I shared this comedy with you because our emphasis on “tick-tock” time is a killer. And if you even have a hint of becoming a body person retire your watch and stop watching the clock so often. I am fortunate because I work on my own time so I don’t need to clock watch as maybe some of you do.
The Native American when we first stepped onto Native American soil knew that it was our European watches and our Roman calendars that caused the white man’s madness. He somehow knew that it was our addiction to TIME and that we were so madly head possessed, that caused our unhappy natures and its addictiveness. What was even worse is that time watching has removed many of us from our natural 5 body senses.
What I recognized when I lived in a lazy Philippines barrio environment for several years is, that many living within third world countries are happy people. Even though they own less stuff than you and me, they are not so worried about what they don’t have as we. They are also not time warped, and have remained body people most if not all their lives.
So as you decide to graduate towards becoming a full body person and get off your head mad hamster wheel, and your first step it to retire your watch. It will become the first step towards full sanity.
You probably have never addressed the power one experiences as she is living in her body. Most people that live in their heads don’t recognize it but once you become a dominant body dweller, your inner power will begin to flourish. That is when your winning in life can grow into becoming a piece of cake. Read on and learn why.
Most head people are not that much into their bodies, some even go as far to feel that they are dragging a carcass all over. That is when a head dweller can become if she is very destructive and abusive to her body is when she begins to do stupid things to hurt herself, or even remain in an abusive relationship.
However, once you become a body person, your body consciousness will awaken in you and you will begin to recognize that to be in your body is to look after your body. A woman who loves her body will look after it and enjoy eating, exercise and getting plenty of rest.
What head dwellers forget is that if we only were spirit people, we won’t need to worry about our bodies, but because we have a body it is necessary that we take the time to look after it. Everything we do in life is about our bodies. Where would our head be without our body?
We go to work to feed, clothe and shelter our bodies, so in life it is all about our bodies and looking after them in a very good way. This becomes even a greater advantage for a body skilled being over a head entity; so let me explain why.
So how does having a body become a great equalizer you might say? Well everyone (in this world) has a body. So in looking after our bodies everyone is the same and therefore equal. In the morning whether we are a Celeb, CEO or even a criminal, all of us, when we awake, go to the restroom, eat, and get ready for work.
Work is a necessary part of being human. But whatever we do, we all have our bodies of which to attend. So in that sense all human beings have a body that needs to be looked after. So in that sense, we human beings are all EQUAL.
So let’s remove what I believe is the “Grand Illusion” that head people quite do not seem to comprehend. But once you graduate as a devoted body being you will. Why in most people’s minds do they feel unequal? I refer to this feeling of inequality as a disease of the mind because it’s a head sickness that screws most human’s up.
Why? It’s because most of us live out this inequality illusion most of our lives. So how does this non-equality disease spread? It has been spread from a “winner takes all” philosophy within our minds, by humans who run everything, controlling things from their key professional status. Because we live out of our heads in this comparing world, we are subject to this illusion.
Unknowingly, we live in a “Winner Takes All” society. Life hasn’t changed much for over thousands of years. During Roman times, a renowned gladiator was like any sports star of our day. He had all the food and all the women he so desired. But once a gladiator failed, he was dead.
Back then and even today one is only on top as long as he remains a winner and remains on top of his game, then wealth and or power comes his way. Similarly, just like every celebrity, sports star, of CEO of any company today, as long as they are winners the world is their oyster, but if any one of them takes a fall, their world is gone, and they become replaced.
I only point this deception out to show you how illusive our head existence is. When we live from our heads we spend most of our time, comparing ourselves with other people of wealth, influence or even looks, which supports the delusion of our own misfortune. Once you enter a body person’s world and shift out of your head, these comparisons stop.
The joy of becoming a body person; is to notice, that we are all equal. It’s like the expression, “We all put our pants on the same way”, is to express this equality.
So back to when you are doing your morning routine; it's getting back to equality thinking. Just the same, everyone else is doing his or her morning body stuff, and there are no exceptions. The ideal is to be in your body at all times before you go to work. But once you arrive at work, this is a time when you can slip into your head, which is because now you are getting paid, for being there. But once you leave your job, leave your head behind and climb back into your body again. So once your back home, stay in your body the rest of the night.
Let’s face it, it is your life, not there’s. That is because too many head people are owned by either their bosses or their careers and are not their own women.
Besides take a day or two off for a retreat for your very own body timetable now again, just to become refreshed. Besides you are not shortchanging your employer one iota when taking time off for you. This is because whenever you return back to work, you’ll become more alive and refreshed and obtain a more creative advantage. This way both you and your employer both win. And even more important is the fact that you will come off the biggest winner of all, once you decide not to play, societies “winner takes all” game.
I refer myself to be more of a body person because I spend a great deal of my time in my body and less in my mind. It all began many years ago when I was a child then I lost it but regained it as I turned 21.So I have lived being a body person most of my life.
What I learned from both experiences is that there are two forces beckoning our attention, it is either the mind or the body. These are two unlike worlds that are offered to us humans in which we live. We all have a choice which is to either live within our minds or our bodies as our major energy source. What you will find is that if you decide to become a body person you will be living in your body which you will develop into a higher energy source which can become one of love,
But if you presently live in your mind, you will experience a lower energy source which is made up of fear. I have chosen to live in my body to experience a world of love which you can also choose to do too. What I am teaching you in this blog is how to become SKILLED in living.
When we were young and just had received our bodies we experienced love. But because of past conditioning from parents, teachers and bosses and learning the 3 R’s at school and we became HOOKED for life, we entered a world of mind and fear. It was our external world of should do’s, that resides outside and around us. Breaking free of that fearful external world to enter a better internal one of our childhood is what you will want to do. That is what Jesus meant of becoming a child again.

Everything in life is a choice. You can choose to live in an external world of fear, or you can decide to merge into your body plane of love. Jesus said the “Kingdom of God is within you”. Yes as you enter your own body and experience your own spirit self, which also resides inside, you will experience unconditional love.
So as you begin to practice this embodiment process, you may begin to experience many different emotions, before you begin to experience love. You may in fact face fear and guilt as you begin this quest; so there are 5 Stages you will learn as you learn to replace fear with love.
Just so you know; I have been living this way since my early 20’s. I had an opportunity to live in the Philippines for several years. I lived many miles outside of Manila more out in the boonies. I lived with the people living hundreds of years behind the times. Living so far away from any major city, I experience life much like the people there. That is when I became converted.
While there, I shifted from an external into a more internal world, of body dwellers. I learned how to apply micro meditation and later I practiced the Marshall Arts from my Japanese Sensei. What I discovered is that people in 3rd World countries and especially those squatters living outside the major cities, are much happier than we Americans who have so much stuff, and they are so happy and yet have so little. Many are simply happy simple to be alive.
However, I will try to tell you what I experienced way back then before I experienced this loving bodied place, which I believe sharing this blog is how I can impart to you my own life’s mission, of embodiment, of which I believe why you and came to Earth to experience.
What is interesting is if you are into astrology, I am a Taurine (the Bull), which is an EARTH SIGN. You will know, Taurus people are said to be more earth bound than most other signs, so being a body dweller is natural state for me.
So let’s go through some of the stages you might precede as you begin your very own embodiment experience. In fact, Angela the You Tube video at the end of this blog post, has an interesting path. All of her family members were into alcohol and drugs so she entered her embodiment experience out of safety. I added her video as a testament of this 5 stage process.
Stage 1 ~ Fear
When you first enter the feeling is very strange. It seems like your moving from the city into a farming community into the country so to speak. All of a sudden life seems so different. Every time we enter the unknown, fear emerges. Am I right making this transition you will think? In fact, even your own mind will feel uncomfortable because it has command of you, and you moving into the unknown will reduce its dominance.
In fact, your mind will try to stop you from continuing on with your quest and try everything in its power to get you to return back to remain under its influence. Don’t listen to its monkey mind chatter, just be patient and continue onwards.
Stage 2 ~ Guilt and Shame
After a few days or a week you will experience Guilt and Shame, as you continue your body adventure. Past thoughts will emerge, even a sense of shame that your body is unattractive. All kinds of body comparisons will emerge such as; maybe I am too fat and I need to lose weight. Maybe I am too thin; or maybe I am not pretty. Maybe I don’t like the color of my skin. Maybe I don’t like seeing myself naked when I am in the shower. The EGO monkey mind can be relentless as it points out all of your imperfections. This is what in the East they call the EGO. All these antibody conversations will flood your mind and guilt and shame will surface.
I want you to STOP all those noisy TRASH TALK by using Micro Meditation. You want the TRASH TALKING to STOP. All of it is simply and illusion and none of it is true. It acts like a steady stream of TV ads pushing you to buy claiming you are not enough without their widget. Advertisers are successful because they know most people are heady. Refuse to listen to trash talks in any form and realize that on your own, you are enough.
Love the fact that you are different. What would this world be, if we lived a clone existence? There is so much beauty in diversity which is why no one body size or shape is perfect. Just realize that even though we live in an imperfect world, you are perfect just the way you are.
Stage 3 ~ Good Vibrations
There is a song by the Beach Boys that states, “I’m pickin’ up Good Vibrations”. When you are patient enough to work through the previous two stages is when “Good Vibrations” finally enter. While experiencing the other two stages you probably only had a few incidents of Stage 3, but it was random and not as permanent.
Once stage 3 enters is when those “Good Body Vibrations” begin to rise within. In fact, these vibrations will soon come and will go but stay longer than during previous stages. That’s when you will become more joyful. You soon will begin to leave that negative Karma behind as you begin to experience positive loving experiences. A new world will open and you will be off into a wonderful adventure.
Stage 4 ~ Spaciousness and Freedom
Stage 4 is a powerful stage because you begin to experience great spaciousness and a sense of freedom. You now become an unlimited being and you will want to live in your body even more each day. You now have become a true body dweller and have emerged out of the world of fear into love. You will do this by practicing Micro Meditation techniques, using breathe, to enter into Stage 5. This is where Mindfulness becomes a constant part of your life. When a negative thought enters, through deep breathing you can exit is and enter back into “Good Vibrations” again. You will experience “Good Vibrations constantly as you enter Stage 5.
Stage 5 “Heaven on Earth” Celebrations
I call Stage 5 a stage of Celebration is because from this time on, you experience a celebration for all living beings. It is as if your body becomes your inner Tora (Jewish Scripture). From this point on your lifelong purpose is to remain a body dweller. What also follows is that you begin to love everyone you meet. Therefore, for the rest of your life you will experience life fuller and there will be no such thing as moving back.
As you grow in the skill of Micro Meditation practice, your mission or calling in life will open and also you will know why you came to Earth. And will soon recognize that it is far greater living this way rather than hustling to acquire a billion dollars. Gates I am happier than you.
You will experience about what most people, who are living on earth, know nothing. Once you become awaken you will want to share this “Heaven on Earth’ experience with others.
However, be patient with your family and friends because what you will notice is only what a few persons will understand. or enter into what you had found. It is like Jesus said with the parable of the sower. “Some get it, and some don’t. So what.” Or allow others their freedom.

The women replies, “Misery no Peter, I didn’t experience my body much, because I was mostly in my head.”

Letting Go of Resistance, Fears, the Past and Moving towards Your Mission
If you will remember Olivia Newton-John’s song, “Let’s Get Physical”, there is a verse where she states, “Let me hear your body talk”. There is more truth to that song than we Westerners could ever imagine. What makes the Plains Indian’s life philosophy so intriguing was that they allowed their bodies to talk.
There are two ways or worlds in which to live. You can choose either to live within your head or your body. Sometimes living from the body can also be associated with living from the heart. The reason I believe that is true is because when you are living in your body you experience life as every other person lives.
Let’s face it; we are all body dwellers and because of that, there is more unity among us human beings than we could ever imagine. We all have a body which requires the same daily attentions, making us so much alike.
In the West, we think of compassion as a thought thing. But even when you are in your head, you still can’t sense another person’s pain or pleasure body experience. Nevertheless, when you dwell in your body, you van experience their pain or joy, which no head person could ever conceive.
Jesus often said to His disciples, “Feel compassion for your neighbor”, so we know that this was not a head statement made by Him. Furthermore, even He had a body like we do to fully express compassion for others. This is why I believe even to this day, there are few head dwelling Christians who truly understand compassion. They must transition more into their bodies to experience Jesus’ true gospel.
What is really revealing is that you will experience through your body your divine nature. Someday go for a walk in nature alone, and try it for yourself and see if this is not true. Whenever I walk in the desert I feel so much lighter and peaceful, so I know I am abiding in spirit.
One question you all probably ask is what does a person do to become a body person? The trick is either through breathe or to feel some part of your body and REST within it most of the day. For example, when I am at my computer, I can feel my fingers moving over the keyboard as I letter. When I walk barefoot, I feel my feet as I walk each step or I might swing my hips and its feel its pleasure.
Accept your body’s pleasure as you move your body. It is natural for most of your body moves to be pleasurable and the Native American’s understood this well. So let go of any guilt or shame, and experiences those types of body pleasures.
I have added a simple test at the end to see if you are a body or head person. If you want to know which one are you, please read on.
We in the West are head people but the Native American’s and even the ancient Celts where tribal game hunters or herders. A hunter tribesman can’t accumulate stuffs as they journeyed as we do within our Western culture. All they could take was their bodies and relationships with family and with other tribesmen. Under these circumstances is when one automatically becomes a body and rather than a mind person.
If you were a hunter back then, you would probably walk 10 miles a day to keep up with the herd. So you would walk and walk, and as you did your physical body became very important. Also, because you were physical all that existed that was important for our life, was contained within your body, so gaining a loving body acceptance was the norm.
In fact, I believe the grief felt by the American Indian was when he lost his hunting livelihood. It was a sad day when his joyful physical lifestyle came to an abrupt end.
There was so much inner joy among this physical people; and when it ended as a people they have never recovered. So what is the long run and short run lifestyle of a women becoming a body person?
In the Long Run, as a full bodied women, you not only dip you toe into your physicality, but you must jump in head first. Once you do this comes a form of happiness and love of self and your compassion for others will also blossom. We in the West have forgotten that our bodies are a part of nature.
Because we are part of nature our bodies are made up of both earth and water. Two groups of people inhabit two different worlds; the first group in which most people dwell is those people who ignore their body’s nature. Finally there is a second group of people who go along with their body’s needs and love it and celebrate its continuous awakening.
As women as well as men, in the West most have ignored their own body’s existence. To do so is like swimming up-stream. Then there was the Native American approach to living, living their way was to fully embrace nature, and was similar to swimming down-stream.
So “Let’s Get Physical” as our long run approach as a woman is to walk, run, dance, do Yoga, or any other pleasurable physical activity. You must find some physical activity that works for you and you enjoy doing and do it several times a week.
Then there is a short run practice.
Sometimes a body person will slip into her head and begin to have negative thoughts. That is when breath enters. If you are able to apply 3 - 5 or more breathes within a minute or two, your head negativity will leave, and you will can slip back into your present minded body again.
Remember remaining within your body as long as possible, except when you are at work, is the best way for you to live. Living this way you can experience the exact joy and pleasures that the Native American felt even back then.
What is interesting is that in Japanese culture, children are taught that they must take 3 breathes whenever angry, before they utter a word. By then, their anger has disappeared and they are back to playing again. Yes Jesus said we need to become as children, maybe there is more truth to that philosophy than we could ever imagine. One, difference is that children are not embarrassed with their bodies as much as adults.
So here is the test. Think about children for a minute on how less inhibited they are. Notice how children when they are young are able to run around naked. Now let’s take this example as you as an adult. If you take a shower, do you feel uneasy being naked? Or being Okay naked in front of a mirror?
Better still when you change your clothing can you be in the buff in front of your significant other? If you can say yes to any of these, there is a good chance that you are a body person. It is not that you can’t change into a body person, but here is a simple example you can work on as a test over time, to see how well your desire to becoming a body person is progressing.
