Woman's Secret ~ "Paleo Pleasures" or What Hunter Gathers or even Herders Knew that our Sophisticated Society of Today, has Lost? But don't Panic, because it can be Relearned by YOU.
We hear so much information on the Paleo diet of today but most of us don't realize that the Paleo diet is merely a TIP of the ICE BERG on the secrets that this society enjoyed.
It is only recently as archeologists have made more intense studies have we begun to see what they knew that we no longer do today. and what we as human beings have LOST.
So going on my walks I have come up with what I call "Motion Theorapy". Today most psychology is of the Cognitative variety which is that if we can straighten out how a patient thinks in her head, and how we can make her think differently. then the happier she will become. It is a mind game of sorts of trying to attend to any self created booby traps of past, or present ways if thinking that the theorapist needs to address. My believe that there is a simpler way to all of this which I call "Paleo Pleasure".
I believe and the book reference, I added below suggest that Paleo's were the happiest society of mankind, but once we moved from Paleo to Agricuture; then to Merchantilists, and now into Information Overload, progressively the more complexity our lifestyles have become, the less happier we have become.
Returning to a "Paleo Pleasures", even it is for 30 minutes or more a day, I believe might offer ground you some more, and in fact, offer you a HAPPIER LIFE. All I can tell you is that it has done this for me.
So why Motion Theorapy different. Motion Theorapy deals with movement and physical and even emotional approaches you have added into your life due to being brought up to live a certain way. We all have learned our motions and how we breath and how we spend our time from our parents and our parents learned it from their parents etc.
The question I ask is what have you learned from them in ways that you are even unconsciously aware, such as walking and breathing and time you spend alone, is what you did learn disfunctional. Or is there a better way to apply any or all of these functions; my answer to you is a resounding YES, and it may surprise you that it is the Paleo's who knew more of all those 3 life fuctions than we apply today.
My suggestion is that because the Paleos were a lot happier lot, that it is not just diet, that we need to lexamine from them, but more importantly lifestyle. Even Bruce Charlton in dealing with psychologicla issues suggests the same.
I wish to talk about 3 areas in which I believe that if a person changed in her life, she would experience a huge change in daily happiness of what I have experienced myself. Are you ready to go.
1. We walk unpleasantly ~ Yes the way we walk today is not a more pleasurable approach. Paleo's because they walked on uneven surfaces as I walk each day in the desert, I walk more pigeoned toed today. Well that is how because of the ups and downs and movements here to avoid rocks is how Paleos walked, Today we have more flat surfaces and because we use our cars, we walk a lot less. In my personal study of motion theorapy, if you will learn to walk more side to side, like a cat's booty moves or walks, you will discover it is a more pleasurable way to move.
Besides when walking this way you will experience greater pleasure though an increase in endorphons. Not only this but even if you were a plain Jane and walked this way, I promise you would turn many men's heads. Why? It is because most women because Paleo life is too far back and also because you were never taught to walk this way life is no longer pleasurable for you, but once you learn to walk properly, I promise, you will blow the competition away. Let's phase it men are still Paleo even if you woman are not.
2. We breath from our upper lungs and not down from our diaphram. ~ So why is breathing properly way down instead of up high. It is because in breathing this way it is like billows and you are gaining more OXYGEN. And when you receive more oxygen your cells are so much happier and it reduces a lot of diseases too because cancer can't grow as well in a strong oxygen environment. But more importantly your endorphons too will increase even more with your cells becoming more oxygenated.
3. We need to add more Pleasure Time Outs Alone. ~ Did you know that Hunter Gathers had a lot of time to be alone and because they did, they created a richer and more affectionate lfestyle than the one we have adapted to today. Members even grooming each other was something they did which we know longer do today. Well you might say, daily spending time to do nothing like a Hunter Gather had done is simply a waste of time.
Sorry but I disagree, instead, think of when you are doing nothing that it is time for you to clear your head. In fact, whenever I take my daily time outs, I return with greater enthusism and with new ideas to share. In fact, Steve Jobs of Apple, used to take several hourly walks alone in Palo Alto to clear his head, and when he came back to Apple, they said he always came back with something new to suggest. Look at Apple under Tim Cook today, and now that Jobs is no longer there, I believe Apple is no longer the innovator that it once was.
I just dropped 3 ideas I have learned from taking my hour or more walks alone in the desert and in nature and what I learned along the way. I have learned from walking on uneven ground, and when I swing my arms it caused me to breath much deeper, and I continue whether on my walks or even throughout the day, take time outs here and there to gain a new perspective.
That is what I have learned more than from my own personal Paleo diet, that has caused a huge increase in personal happiness. Somehow this is something that we lost, but if we take the time, it is also something we can relearn, I
believe once you will relearn all of these 3 idea and if you include its diet too, your whole universe and happines will dramatically change.
Why Hunter Gather Society was much Happier than We are Today
"Bruce Charlton has made his a final proof of his 1999 book Psychiatry and the Human Condition available online in its entirety. The book book is described as, “an optimistic vision of a superior alternative approach to psychiatric illness and its treatment, drawing upon modern neuroscience and evolutionary theory.
In summary, the ancestral hunter gatherers experienced a way of life that was – in world historical terms – leisured and egalitarian, and enjoyed health and life expectancy at a high level. Of the three kinds of society as described by Gellner: hunter-gatherer, agrarian, and mercantile, it is probable that hunter-gatherers had the best life, overall.
Hunter gatherer societies are the happiest and peasant societies are the most miserable – while industrial-mercantile societies such as our own lie somewhere in between."
Don’t Believe Me Read this Literature on Walking Correctly
Your pace of walking may predict heart disease, mortality risk
A UK study reveals that middle-aged people who are slow walkers are twice as likely to have a heart-related death compared to brisk walkers.
The finding was seen in both men and women and was not related to other risk factors such as smoking, body mass index, diet or how much television the participants watched, suggesting that walking pace is an independent predictor of heart-related death.
The team also found that self-reported walking pace was strongly linked to how fit an individual perceived themselves to be, further suggesting walking pace is a good measure of overall physical fitness.
Swiveling (really rotating) your hips helps increase speed by reducing your side to side motion so that you have the most propulsion forward. The bent arm swing also helps by allowing the arm to swing more quickly, in sync with your feet. Pushing off with the front of your back foot speeds things up, too.
Something had to die, for us to enter the new.
I believe that as the American Dream continues to die for the majority of the Middle Classes; that a new movement is taking over one that I believe is more internally rich; and less externally biased.
Yes, I believe that today we are setting the stage for a lifestyle era change of which I call one of maturing Self-Care.
So what is the American Dream and why is it vanishing?
“It’s called the American Dream because you have to be asleep to believe it.” It seems like an increasing number of Americans are beginning to open up their eyes and realize that George Carlin’s famous one-liner might be more accurate than many of us are willing to acknowledge.
As the United States drifts farther and farther away from the idyllic scene of prosperity and opportunity that can be found in Horatio Alger’s rags-to-riches stories and closer to the stark reality of inequality that came to define the gilded and the years leading up to the Great Depression, it seems plausible that for the first time in our nation’s history the American Dream may be just that — a dream.
These gaping disparities in wealth and income inequality didn’t arise overnight. Instead, the distribution of wealth and income has become increasingly unequal over time. The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities found that between 1979 and 2008, the top 1 percent of households saw their after-tax income increase by a whopping 281 percent whereas the middle fifth of households saw theirs increase by only 25 percent.
America: a country founded on liberty, the pursuit of happiness, and the ideals of life. The notion of the American middle class is centered on four pillars: a chance to retire at age 65, a chance to send their children to college, work in order to afford a comfortable lifestyle, and access to good medical care. However, the current financial and economic crisis, and the constant increase in unemployment are causing millions of middle class families to lose their homes or become jobless.
As a result, this crisis is steadily chipping away at the four pillars that built the American middle class, which eventually will cause it to sway and sooner or later come to an end.
Can you imagine America without its middle class?
The American middle class is slowly being wiped out. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, in 2010 there were 46.2 million Americans living below the poverty line – an increase from 43.6 million in 2009 (a poverty rate of 15.1% in 2010, an increase from 14.3% in 2009). Moreover, the Census reported that the current 2010 poverty rate of 15.1% is the highest rate in 52 years.
So as the American Dream vanishes I believe that among some more mature Americans, Self-Care may replace it?
Today we see both on the left and the right political sides both anger and active dissent. But in the middle, we also see another more adjusted and tranquil group in search of inner peace. So as the American Dream vanishes we also become less and less dependent on government to meet our needs, and we must find another dream to keep us happy. Which is why I believe that some of us in America; are being forced into a new era of choice, of which I call our Self-Care age?
It’s not that “self-care”—as the concept of consciously tending to one’s own well-being has become known—was invented during the election season. But in 2016, self-care officially crossed over into the mainstream. It was the new chicken soup for the progressive soul. The week after the election, Americans Googled the term almost twice as often as they ever had in years past. Many of them simply wondered, “What is this thing?” Months later, others still wondered where it came from.
It took 9/11 for self-care to begin to reclaim its roots as an act of political resistance, according to Petrzela. The collective trauma of that experience led to a notable increase of studies on the effects of PTSD, and it made psychiatrists expand their criteria for who might be considered to be a PTSD victim, to include even some who had a more indirect experience of witnessing the towers fall or may not have noticed symptoms until years later. Petrzela notes that in the fallout from the attacks there was a “turning inward in a lot of ways”:
A 1983 report from the World Health Organization first defined “self-care” simply as “the activities individuals, families, and communities undertake with the intention of enhancing health, preventing disease, limiting illness, and restoring health.”
Since then, the concept has been expanded by psychologists, activists, and new age practitioners, all of whom have emphasized reclaiming time to focus on oneself amidst our bustling work and social obligations. In a 2008 article in Psychology Today, Dr. Dana Gionta wrote: “Balancing work, family, and personal life has always been challenging.
It is even more challenging today. Our technological advancements are overwhelming us with information overload.” Motivational online communities have similarly bemoaned the frantic pace of modern life and have advocated reconnecting with one’s body.
As a recent post on the popular lifestyle blog Tiny Buddha exhorted, “The more you practice taking really good care of your body, the more it will reward you with good health, tons of clarity, energy, and the ability to experience all the good that life has to offer for years to come!”
I want to leave on that note, which I have continually pressed is this blog and that is that as we become more involved in our own bodies is how we will find greater solace.
Somehow, external dreams like the American Dream even if it does vanish, but we all have a body and which is our real place to live. So what if the American Dream vanishes and with its disappearance, as we enter more into our body worlds, I believe those who even if forced to change direction, and I also believe we will become a more fulfilled and happier people.
The Woman's Secret ~ Looking at how you move tells people volumes about what you think of yourself and before you say a word. Change your gate and your world will change too.
“Everything Marilyn does is different from any other woman, strange and exciting, from the way she talks to the way she uses that magnificent torso.” Clark Gable on Marilyn Monroe
The thing I am interested here is the way Marilyn learned to move her butt, whenever she walked.
Somehow, over time we stopped walking and lost the pleasure of walking too. Hopefully, DIVA's like Marilyn, can point us into the right direction even within our Hi Tech way of living.
I added this picture above which was the last Walking Club held in the US which was in the year 1910.
So why don't we walk as much today. It was after the invention of the Model T Ford, and from that period on, is when walking as a pastime and walking clubs disappeared. And this was the day the our crisis with pleasure walking began.
Before we go on, I want to ask you one question and this question may surprise you.
If you don't experience pleasure in walking then you must be doing it wrong?
My belief is that for many Americans, the lack of enjoyment in walking I believe could be a large part of our obesity problem and it is not only what and how much we eat, but we try to walk less and not as far.
In the Article "The Crisis in America Walking" it suggests why Americans are in a crisis walking mode which could be accelarating our problems with Obesity.
So let's address those statistics as to why American's walk so little which statistics get worse and worse each year.
"The United States walks the least of any industrialized nation. Studies employing pedometers have found that where the average Australian takes 9,695 steps per day (just a few shy of the supposedly ideal “10,000 steps” plateau, itself the product, ironically, of a Japanese pedometer company’s campaign in the 1960s), the average Japanese 7,168, and the average Swiss 9,650, the average American manages only 5,117 steps."
Notice how American's walk half as many steps or as far our European counterparts each day. This gives rise to what might constitute a major reason for our Obesity crisis.
The article continues.
"Despite these upsides, in an America enraptured by the cultural prosthesis that is the automobile, walking has become a lost mode, perceived as not a legitimate way to travel but a necessary adjunct to one’s car journey, a hobby, or something that people without cars—those pitiable “vulnerable road users,” as they are called with charitable condescension—do.
To decry these facts—to examine, as I will in this series, how Americans might start walking more again— may seem like a hopelessly retrograde, romantic exercise: nostalgia for Thoreau’s woodland ambles. But the need is urgent.
The decline of walking has become a full-blown public health nightmare."
The reason I wish to talk about walking is because we in the US Americans walk 1/3 of their waking hours to 1/2 of the time for Europeans.
The question is first why was walking so important and second are we walking properly.
Let's discuss the first.
When Homo Erectus began to move from walking on all 4's to walking on 2 feet, it wasn't simply to gain greater vision, but he also discovered that walking became a pleasant activity. In fact, it was said, that man in his hunter and gather stages would walk from about 5 to 20 miles a day so there must have been some pleasure other than food, as to why walking on two legs and not on 4's was to his advantage.
If insteach you believe in Adam and not the Cave Man story. Even Abraham was a herder and being a herder would have to walk his animals every few days from pasture to pasture. So even following the Abraham story and not Homo Erectus, walking was not just a necessary but I believe was also an enjoyable activity.
Also after spending close to two years of writing this blog, I asked myself this week, if I had to boil everything down to the simplist and I believe one of the most important activities a woman and I also believe a man could learn, and that would be to enjoy walking.
I believe after moving from Hunter Gathers, to Farming, then the Industrial Revolution and today, into our Tech World, To us today, WALK is a similar 4 letter word like WORK. And I believe over time that we have lost not only the ART but also the PLEASURE of walking. So how do I believe this is true?
When Walking Properly Swivel Your Hips
"Now that your hips are loosened up (from practicing the super model walk), add a little swivel to help you go faster. You want your hips moving forward and backward—not side-to-side like you're on a dance floor. Think of your legs extending all the way up to your belly button. This is not just an imaginative exercise. Some of your walking muscles do, in fact, go up into your abdomen. As your right leg steps forward, your right hip should sway forward. Then that right hip should sway back as your right leg extends behind you. Pull your belly button in, and feel your ab muscles work as you swivel your hips.
This forward-and-back hip swivel is not a big movement. Warm up first with the super model walk, then practice the hip swivel for a minute or so. Intersperse a few minutes of focused hip swiveling into your walks, but don't spend all your time on it. Over time it will start to click and become more natural."
Walking Boosts Mood and Relieves Depression
"Walking and other exercise leads to the release of the body's natural happy drugs -- endorphins. Walkers who walk at a brisk walking pace to raise their heart rate will notice this effect more than those who walk at a slower heart rate pace. But even at a slower pace, most people notice an improvement in mood.
Many physicians recommend adding regular walking and exercise as a natural treatment to relieve a bout of depression. The cause of depression is related to brain chemistry. By getting your brain to release more of the happy chemicals -- the endorphins -- you achieve naturally what many prescription drugs and herbs try to do artificially.
Depression can be a serious and life-threatening disease, so consult your health care provider if your mood is leading to problems in your life or if you have suicidal thoughts. Use walking as a part of effective treatment for mood disorders, which may also include talk therapy and drugs.
Studies publishes in 2015 found that walking in a natural environment reduced rumination and anxiety."
Now I would like to address the second question as to why walking today might not be an enjoyable activity other than the automobile, reducing its need. But I also believe that today we lost how to walk properly.
I have been walking in the desert not for close to 15 years and I have noticed something that most people never have investigated. We all are so unconscious as to how we walk that we have never asked ourselves, in walking is there a better way to walk then we culturally do? My answer is yes.
I have studied in my walking in the desert how ancients have walked. Today we walk on flat cement sidewalks and ashfalt parkways. So why we have lost how to walk is not only our main use of the car, but we walk on flat surfaces. In doing so, we have lost the pleasure of walking right.
So what do I mean by walking right? When Homo Erectus, Abraham or even walking as a Roman centurian, they all walked on an uneven surface. Have you ever seen how a cat walks from side to side? What I noticed when I began walking on an uneven road or path, that I walked very much like cat and even lik eMarilyn as my torso to moved from side to side. I began walking similar to how a DIVA walks.
So what has this all to do with pleasure. As I began to walk from side to side, my arms would move back and forth, and just like billows, I also began to breathe not only from my lungs but down to my diaphram and getting more oxygen into every breath in the process. As I got bette at it, it also became an instant approach to mediation.
So what does this have to do with making you as a woman more confident and attractive to men?
Scientists say that a certain strut can make you seem instantly sexier and more successful from 20 feet away.
"Left, right, left, right...we all know how to walk, right? But taking a stroll isn't just about getting
from A to B. Researchers from Queen's University in Canada recently had men rate different female gaits and discovered that there's one saunter that captivates them. This wasn't news to biological anthropologist Helen Fisher, PhD, author of Why Him? Why Her?
"Women have developed ways to get and keep a man's attention as we've evolved, and this walk is one of them," she says. A man-melting stride doesn't just turn heads — Fisher says women who do it are also instantly associated with a slew of positive traits. Um, how did we not know about this before?
Walk This Way
Odds are, you've seen The Walk or done it yourself without realizing its power: It's a slightly tamer, SFW version of the Victoria's Secret model strut.
So How Should You Walk Properly
Your head is up, shoulders are back, and you lead with your boobs. Your arms swing loosely back and forth while your hips swivel from side-to-side. Your weight is more in your heels. It may take practice to make it your go-to gait, so repeat this mantra to yourself when you walk: "Shoulders, hips, heels.…"
Once you get it, the stride pays off big-time. The combo of your symmetrical body alignment and
rhythmic movements sends a subliminal message to onlookers that you're in touch with and in control of your body (sexy!). And that makes them assume you're also in control of your life.
Walking this way won't just make you look hotter. You'll also feel sexier and more confident, says Diana Kirschner, PhD, author of Love in 90 Days, since your mind will eventually buy into the message your body is sending."
What is more important to me, finally what I have found is the more I walk this way (even Home Sapien ancient men used to walk this way and not just their wives) , and when I walk this way too, I receive so the more pleasure in walking, and the more pleasure I sicovered, the more time and frequency I spend walking each day. That is why I walk for over two hours and 7 miles a day.
I hope you too will experience not only time in walking but learning how to walk properly.
Change Your Walk to change your life
In the article above Change Your Walk to Change Your Life, The Secret Ingredient of Feeling Good in Your Body is to experience pleasure in movement according to this author . Also in watching the video below this author suggests the following facts and tells women how to experience pleasure in movement. Don't forget to watch the video below.
'91% of woman don’t like being in their bodies". Pleasure feeling of happiness or some sensuality to be happy can be achieved by in experiencing pleasure in how she has learned how to properly move in her body. Enjoy!
Everything in Life is an Investment, of Seeing Both Sides of a Man's Experience, according to Fritz Pearls; of Gestalt Therapy
I do my thing
and you do your thing.
I am not in this world
to live up to your expectations
And you are not in this world
to live up to mine.
You are you and I am I.
And if by chance
we find each other,it's beautiful,
If not, it can't be helped."
Fritz Perls (1893-1970)
Gestalt Therapy pioneer
I was introduced to Fritz Pearls while doing a 2 chair procedure during my doctoral program. I would like to share some of his ideas, to help you realize what may be important within your own life and as Pearls suggests, you finding polarity or as he suggests of experiencing polarity or authenticity.
The Native American's knew this well as they used to say,
"Never criticize a man until you've walked a mile in his moccasins." This is Gestalt.
So here is a simple taste of what Gestalt Therapy might feel like:
"Dr. Perls: Close your eyes. Go into the airplane. Realize you're not in a real airplane, just in your fantasy. So fantasy is going to help you see what you experience when you are flying.
A. B.: Already my heart begins to beat faster ...
Dr. Perls: Don't open your eyes ...
A. B.: All right ...
Dr. Perls: Your heart begins to beat faster ... go on.
A. B.: I see the back of the pilot up there, and you know I'm not sure whether he can do it.
Dr. Perls: Good. Get up and tell him that.
A. B.: I tap him on the shoulder, he looks around, I say, "Are you keeping your eyes on the road?" He shoves me away and I go back to my seat.
Dr. Perls: Now you don't go back to your seat. Change seats. You're the pilot. [Dr. Perls asked me to get up, sit in another chair facing the one I was previously sitting in. Each time I changed roles, I changed seats.]
A. B.: I'm the pilot. What is this woman doing interfering with me? Get out of the cockpit and get back to your seat. I know what I'm doing.
Dr. Perls: I don't believe your voice. Listen to your voice.
A. B.: [As airplane pilot] I'm sorry, madam, I'm very sorry, madam, terribly sorry, but we do know how to run this airplane, and would you please go back to your seat. Everything is fine and under control.
Dr. Perls: O.K. now. What's your name? Adelaide? Adelaide?
A. B.: [As Adelaide] I'd like to go back to my seat, but I'm upset about this airplane, because I don't like to be off the ground. I don't like to be fifty thousand feet up in the air. It's not natural to me.
Dr. Perls: O.K., now your are a writer - write this script.
A. B.: [As pilot] Listen, we do the best we do the best we can, we're human beings, too. Your know this plane is checked by Pan American an this plane cost five million dollars and believe me, if there's one thing we like it's money, and every time a plane goes down we lose money, we lose people. It's very bad for our public relations and we do everything possible to keep this plane in the air. Now, if once in a while ... my God ... if once in a while we slip up, that's the way is goes and you gotta take your chances on this earth. So far we've hat absolutely no transatlantic accidents. Do you realize that? [As Adelaide] But, I, me, it would be just my fate going to London, you know, going to London, whup down in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. But, your know, so what. So I'd miss old age, I'd miss a lot of horrible things, so maybe it wouldn't be so bad after all.
[As pilot] Listen, lady that's no way to think when you're going off on a holiday. You're being absolutely stupid.
Dr. Perls: Say this again.
A. B.: [As pilot] You're being absolutely stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid. What the hell. I do this for a living. Even if I'm making fifty thousand a year. I can do something else. I do this for a living. Every day-no, not every day-fifteen days a month I do this for a living and you are a stupid woman.
[As Adelaide] I really know I'm stupid. That's a joke, I know I'm stupid. You know, I have to tell you ... I've even taken flying lessons. I took flying lessons to try to do something about the fear, in little Piper Cubs.
Dr. Perls: Don't tell me ...
A. B.: [As pilot] Piper Cubs, oh, Piper Cubs, right. Piper Cubs, that's a joke. You're in a Boing 707, Piper Cubs. There's no relationship between the two of them. I suggest, madam, that you go back to your seat, and that you let me ...
Dr. Perls: I suggest something else. You take over now, the plane. Your go to the pilot's seat.
A. B.: [As Adelaide] Ooooooooo, I love it. All I know is I love being in control.
Dr. Perls: Don't tell me. This is him.
A. B.: [As Adelaide] Listen, I can fly this plane better than you can with my left hand behind by back. Your know there are a few little dials and technical things around here, but I could learn that in about a couple of months. You know I'm bright enough to learn that. Now your sit back there and I'm going to run this show.
Dr. Perls: Say this again:"I'm going to run the show."
A. B.: I'm going to run this show.
Dr. Perls: Again.
A. B.: I'm going to run this show.
Dr. Perls: Say this with your whole body.
A. B.: I'm going to run this show.
Dr. Perls: Now, say this to me: "Fritz, I'm ...
A. B.: Fritz, I'm going to run this show.
Dr. Perls: Again.
A. B.: I'm going to run this show.
Dr. Perls: Have your learned something?
A. B.: Yeah, that's me - unfortunately.
Dr. Perls: There you get a little piece of Gestalt therapy.
A. B.: It's beautiful.
Dr. Perls: You get an example now that we are not analyzing. We are just integrating. You have given the pattern. Some of your domineering needs, and I let you take it back so you feel a little bit stronger.
A. B.: Right, right.
Dr. Perls: That's Gestalt Therapy.
A. B.: I see. Does all Gestalt work this way? ... I saw you do it yesterday in a demonstration. Do you always do it with this kind of technique, with a person changing roles and seats to emphasize a point?
Dr. Perls: Whenever I see a polarity, yes. When we have two opposites. You'll notice these opposites are fighting. The passenger an the pilot are enemies. There are enemies because the don't listen to each other. In this dialogue, by realizing this other part, which seems to be outside of you, persecuting you, you see it is actually you, yourself. So your take those feelings back inside, your reassimilate a little of the domineering needs.
A. B.: Well really, though, maybe in order for me to understand this deeply, we would have to go through it twenty times or twenty years. Or would we have to spend a year, maybe working on this in order for it to get inside of me?
Dr. Perls: No, no, no, no. Now I have to tell your what I said yesterday, that I finally found a solution. You don't need to stay twenty years on the couch or have year in, year out therapy. We can do the whole thing in about three months. From neurosis to authenticity. And the solution is the therapeutic community: where we come together, work together, and do the therapy together.
The core of the therapy is learning to confront your opposites. Once you know this way of confronting yourself with opposites, next time you might be able to do it easier. If I give your, for instance, an example of what is the most frequent opposite inside people, then you'll see what will happen from this.
The most frequent opposite example is the top dog and the underdog. And later we will extrapolate for this a bit."
A. B.: All right."

I don't know if you remember the TV show "Fantasy Island".
"The Fantasy Island TV show was (obviously) a 60 minute fantasy series on ABC.
Your wildest dreams could come true on Fantasy Island. Just pick any place and time in your past.
You'd get a chance to relive your mistakes (and hopefully fix them).
Or pick something you always wanted to do but couldn't or didn't. But be carefull what you wish for!
Sometimes fantasies should remain in your dreams! To help you remeember, here was the cast that you would see every week. It is still on Hulu, if any of you want to see it again.
Fantasy Island CastRicardo Montalban .... Mr. Roarke
Herve Villechaize .... Tattoo
Christopher Hewitt ... Lawrence
Wendy Schaal ......... Julie
Kimberly Beck ........ Cindy '
The reason I bring up the idea of "Fantasy Island" is because within our own society, there tends to be a lot of people who live within their own fantacies. In fact, my belief is that with the increases in technology, more and more people seem to enter their very own mental versions, of the show, "Fantasy Island".
As a therapist, using Gestalt Therapy authored by Fritz Pearls which I discussed some of his personal ideas in an early blog post is a unique technique that the therapist would use, to somehow get the patient out of his or her fantasy world of thinking and snap them back into reality.
Somehow the therapist will not use B. F. Skinner's concept of Behavioral Therapy where you slowly move the patient from their fantasy world, and over time show them how to experience reality. Gestalt is where the therapist would use a quicker and more radical approach by creating a "Reality Snap -back", word or technique or creating a situation, to get the patient to see the error of his or her thinking, and finding the patient immediately ready to make his or her changes, or finding another "Slower Therapy" to follow.
Many times those changing to a Behavioralist therpist not accepting the therapy of a Gestalt therapist, my belief is that the patient didn't want to own up to his or her own reality but wanted to somehow, maintain his or her own, private fantasies. That is why I prefer Gestalt over Behaviorial therapy.
I believe that one problem that people who are not in reality is that they are living in a dream. And just like the TV series where in search of their own fantasies and just people who came onto the set of "Fantasy Island", and these people were living out their own fantasies, while living here on earth.
As a Gestalt Therapist, I want to illustrate a method that you might like to explore on your very own, to potentially snap yourself out of any fantasies that you might in fact have. I am not suggesting that you are living in a fantasy, but only to suggests, that using this simple technique I will share with you here, might help make a huge change in your very own personal life. So if you are ready to change your life forever, we hope this will end many of your own fantasies forever.
This is a simple therapy I will prescribe but you must follow it today, and other times throughout the month or year, to maintain your very own sense of your own human reality. Knowing and accepting your humaness is my belief that will end most of your fantasies, place you more on an Earthly par, and over time make you into a far happier human being. It is our delusions that cause us human's havic and the reducing of our happiness. and this practice below I created which is to elimate any delusiongs that you might have. In fact, one strength of the Paleos is that they didn't have the fantacies we modern men have.
In fact, what I prescribe is simple, but might not be easy to do, that is if you have a HUGE FANTACY life. Hopefully, you want to elimate any fantasies that you might have if you do, you will follow my advice.
Here some pschological advice you could follow:
“I regularly tell my therapy clients that if they genuinely want to improve their self-esteem, they need to explore what parts of themselves they're not yet able to accept. For, ultimately, liking ourselves more (or getting on better terms with ourselves) has mostly to do with self-acceptance. And it's only when we stop judging ourselves that we can secure a more positive sense of who we are. Which is why I believe self-esteem rises naturally as soon as we cease being so hard on ourselves. And it's precisely because self-acceptance involves far more than self-esteem that I see it as crucial to our happiness and state of well-being.”
This is a more radical approach this women used than the one above and for her it seemed a very enlightening procedure and extermely beneficial. I have also added a more evassive approach below if you do yoga.
“Alone in my bathroom, I stripped off all of my clothes. I stood naked before the mirror and looked at myself. I mean, really looked at myself. I wanted to see my body and acknowledge what I didn’t like. I felt that by doing this I could see the real me and finally accept who I am, flaws and all.
Here’s what I saw: My body is not perfect, but it is certainly not bad, either.
Regardless of its flaws, my body has withstood many challenges: I gave birth to two children, I ran a half marathon, and I can rock the thirty-minute circuit at the gym like nobody’s business. I also have some pretty cool tattoos, and even though I am no super model, I actually think I look good naked.
When I thought about it, I realized my body was actually pretty awesome.
It was then and there that I decided I needed to take my friend’s advice: accept my body for what it is. Sure, it would be cool to have rock hard abs or to look like a girl on the cover of a fashion magazine, but by comparing my body to some ideal, I am overlooking what is truly great about me.
And so I quit my weight loss program, and as soon as I did, I felt amazing. No more feeling guilty about what I did or did not eat that day, no more hating myself on weigh-in day (no more weighing myself, period!), and no more telling myself I am not thin enough.
I will still make strides to be healthy (regular exercise, healthy portions, fruits and veggies), but now it is just to be healthy, not to lose thirty pounds or look like a super model.
My experience in truly facing my insecurities and consciously deciding to accept myself, my whole self, and nothing but myself, was truly enlightening; and it was freeing.
I challenge you to do the same. You don’t have to literally get naked, but definitely do so metaphorically. Strip away your impossible expectations and look at the amazing person you really are.”
What I hope this does for you is create a sense of GROUNDING. I believe our minds are always scattered but it is our body wisdom, that acts like our life's true north start. So once you get a handle on self body acceptance, is when your body grounding and shifting from mind control, will begin.
If you are heavily into yoga but I don't recommend you follow her advice but I added a link below where she teaches yoga in her classe in the buff.
But if you are in yoga, you don't have to practice naked, but I recommend that you learn to slow down your practice and get to know your body better and hopefully you will gain those same effects. and begin your very own journey towards self-acceptance.
Here is what I believe which many therapists don't recognize. I am more into Radical Self Care than they are. Yes Self Care is not just about your mental construct of self acceptance and a psychologist, trying to help yo u sort that construct in a Top/down fastion. I believe it needs to be attended from a more primative side of your brain which is your and my bodies.
Let's face it, Hollywood has created a construct of what the perfect body type both for male and female types, which are totally FALSE and unreal. We seem to see these in our movies and in our ads we watch on TV and in the magazines. Many of them which are air brushed by the way. In fact, I believe their body standards of what is acceptable is one that NO ONE dued to the diversity of our Human DNA's and even the movie stars temselves, can't ever live up too. No wonder they are into tummy tucks and plastic surgery care, to keep up this FALSE reality.
So lets get down to your body and how you perceive it. I will share with you what I have done because ever us males can't live up as we get older to the abs of the perfect Hollywood image. No wonder dieting because we are all being fooled, has become a trillion dollar industry.
So to my way of thinking both men and women need to see how FALSE Hollywood's standards really are.
What I personally did after getting sick from cancer and now moving into remission, which I am glad to say. Is that my body image became an important person radical self care construct I had to personally as a human being, to attend to. I realized I before I began the therapy I ask you to do below that I had to end that monster that was in my head for good. It couldn't take a 3 minute of nudity coming out of the shower, but it needed more time to settle in. I said to myself, as I extended both test times, that I like the way I am, no clothes and all. all my love handles and all.
Maybe you will have to find your own way to change not just your mental but that body image problem going on in your head. I know this seems more radical than laying down on a shrinks couch, but after almost dieing, I realize that accepting my body with love and its wonder as it is, was and is probably for 99.9% of the human family, is an important thing to do. Even if you have to get down in the mental weeds, of getting but naked for a few more minutes than you normally do taking a shower.
If you don't sense and experience your humaness to me you will lose your human experience, somehow, you need some neuralplasticity or a shift in consciousness to set in if you are a dominant head person. If it doesn't work within a few hours like it did for me, then you must be willing to give these changes more time.
The most important thing you have learned here is that accepting yourself is deeper than your mind acceptance, but it goes much deeper and into your not living up to Hollywood's air brushed body image yourself. Somehow, you have to NEUTRALIZE that I'm not OK idea that is rolling around in your head each day.
The beauty of you attacking your non OK'ness from a body stance is that once you do this heavy lifting, something magical begins to happen. What you will begin to sense over time like the book title itself, is "I'M OK/YOUR OK, something if you are reading this blog post right now, you believe have to fix.
The only thing is once you know what is your problem, now you need to let your consciousness find your very own body self acceptance solution but I added a system that I use below that has helped me. Remember, this is a radical self care principle and something we all modern human beings of today, need to do.
I believe that overcoming your negative body image like I have had to do, is entering the BIG LEAGUES, But there are some positives that will come your way once you do. Below, I believe are 12 benefits you will gain once you practice self acceptance and learn how to become more comfortable within your own skin.
Yes I believe that one of the reasons we came to earth is to enjoy the bodies that God has given us. And if we don't learn to enjoy living in our bodies, maybe we might have failed, His exam.
Also, that is what makes our world great is we are amongst so many wonderful human beings of different shapes and sizes, just like ourselves and we need to respect their needs as they respect ours.
Furthermore, because we are all human, we are all equal. And whether you are fat, thin, tall or short, we all have bodies, and learning to accept our bodies and other peoples bodies too, Allowing for all those differences in human body shapes and sizes, as you will read in the benefits below will become an essential part of your thinking. God didn't create clones so living with differemces was all His plan from the very beginning.
I believe that once we put on our clothes and when the make-up goes on is when your fantancies begin. If you remember that your body is made up of both a mix of the earth and water, maybe you will becme more forgiving of those parts you wish were different. In fact, whenever I hear the word, "Earth", it creates a warm feeling deep down inside me. I want this same effect to be your feeling too.
I call it Gestalt because you are getting to know your body as it is and accepting yourself, accepting your body as is and enjoying being a human being.
In summary, we all came to Earth to experience this human existance, and soak it all in. Even part of your body that you might not like which is really a wonderful thing. Its you or who you are and that is a beautiful thing. We are all beautiful creatures whatever is lacking in our bodies that may appear in our minds. Somehow, that negative way of SHIT thinking has to be erased for good.
Before having you leave I want to take this simple test so see if you are into body acceptance or it is something that you need more time to work on. In fact, you can use it not only as a test but an approach to make you more body accepting so this test is very expansive in nature.
I wanted to leave you like a TED video with this simple test, so I don't leave you hanging out to dry, without a solution .
Please be honest when you take this test the next time you take a shower, and dry yourself off. Please women, no cheating. Cheating is not going to do you any good. Take the time doing both of these tests, the way you would normally do it, and if you need to work on it some more, remember that is the purpose of this test, because it also includes your solution.
I also want to make this test simple and something that most of us, unless you are a hermit, do every day and that is take a shower or bath. One thing I have found is that once you apply this approach as a meditation, it can become a valuable approach to self therapy.
Also, for women that have young children, applying this simple test, when the hubby is home, might be a simple approach to have some time alone. I find women with children, desire more of that time and this is a way you can achieve that desire.
Test 1. During a day when you have more time to spend to relax, do you spend more or less than 5 minutes taking a shower. The longer you take, might become more therapeutic too, than just taking a quick run, as most people do. And the goal is that if you do a quick run through like a car wash, I want you to extend that time, maybe out to even 10 mintes and enjoy the water through taking a more meditative shower. Enjoy the water on your face and on your back and enjoy it like it is a message session. You might even want to learn to take a long hot bath and maybe even include aroma candles. I wrote a blog article on it earlier on both. You can also use an extended timer if that helps. The idea here is that the more you rush this process, the poorer body image you have of yourself. And if you have a poorer body image, I want you to extend that shower of bath time more. Here are two things you might like to add when applying this test. The first is like going to a masseuse, they always have soft music in the background. And if that helps, please use it. Extend it with a gratitude thought processes too if that even helps. Also, you might like to get an 15 minute time too that will ring once your 10 minutes of shower time is up.
Test 2. After taking your shower and drying yourself off, do you take about 3 or more minutes on yourself drying off and putting on your clothes back on agin afterwards, The longer you take in this process too, suggests you need to add more time there too. It suggests that you don't like seeing yourself naked. You might like to keep the music going while also drying yourself off. Use any devise you can to help you feel good and extend out that time.
We humans operate from goals to make our practices valid, so the Question you are probably asking is how do I know my meditative shower practice has worked. The answer is more sensual than rational I am afraid because you are training yourself how to become a sensual women, (men are included). What you will notice is that not only your mind thoughts slow down, but over time, you will experience where all of your SHOULD thoughts shut down. Once that happens you enter the present moment and experience a pleasure, beyond possible offered to you within your rational mind. It is this feeling of ultimate PLEASURE which is what your body, and not your mind can offer you. Use this idea not only with taking a shower meditation but with every other practice you may do, such as Yoga.
In summary, a person who is comfortable in their own skin is willing to take more time doing both activities. A person who is wanting to get out of their clothes take a fast shower and put them on again fast I believe has a body image problem that their self conscious is exhibiting and it is happening below their rational mind radar. If you do have a body image problem, relax we all have had this same problem at one period of our lives, and I believe if you can extend that time out more, over time, it will force you to accept your self body image better.
Over time once you are successful in doing this simple self acceptancy practice above, here are the long run benefits you will discover. If you have a body image problem, there benefits won't happen all at once, but one by one, you will be able to check them off. In fact, you can even use this too as a further test to see if your practice is or is not working.
Also to measure if this activity you liked and has worked for you. please hit the like button below.
1. First of all this is a non-sexual practice but simply one of you experiencing deep body exploration.
2. . For head people this can be a "Born Again" experience to experience a different side of you. However, if you are a strong head person, you may need to give it more time for neuroplasticity or a new neural network in you brain to set in,
3 . You are beginning the process of learning how to become comfortable in your own skin, which is something that head people never seem to learn. In your practice, I want you to accept your human reality all of it and not simply living in Top/down world but learn how to transition a few times suring your day, into your personal Bottoms/up lifestyle.
4. I want you to pretend over time that you are wearing a "Human Being Badge" and are proud that you have this wonderful body that God has given you. In fact, every night before going to bed, I thank God that I am a body person and not a spirit being only.
5. Also, whenever you meet people out there who you don't know and even a stranger you can realize they have a body just like you have therefore something in common with them, commoness allows your mind to meet there mind in good conversation. So you don't have to be afraid of anyone else because you have learned to value yourself as a human being and value your own personal Human worth.
6. You will become more self loving and loving yourself with all your love handles and all of your body differences. You will realize how DNA has made you unique and different from others and all our genetic differeces is a blessing for you and for others. As you meet others wherever, you will begin to think, defficiencies and all, you are perfectly YOU. Furthermore, you will also learn to love other more too.
7. You will also becoming less judgemental which is something I also realize as I am more of a body person. I believe it is because even when someone doesn't live their life exactly my way, I have become more accepting and forgiving of their differences.
8. I want you to begin experiencing pleasure in your bodies motion. I walk more and sit less now that I love my human body more than I did before I experienced my body self. To me walking is a pleasure just like anyone doing yoga, experiences pleasure in their practice.
9. I want you to become or gain a sense of become a body person, someone who lives in her body all day long. It soons becomes a method of you living more present, and less in the past and the future. Positive psychology by Abraham Maslow suggests that people who live in their bodies and are fully present, are self-actualized and truly happy people. Maybe this simple practice can be your start.
10. I believe in the "Law of Attraction" but I believe that the more physically aware you are as a person the more confidence and charisma you will exude when you meet people, to make this law to begin working powerfully in your life.
11. You will have also gained more empathy for people who don't experience either the life or have the wonderful body that you enjoy. You will learn to reach out fo defficiencies that other people may have that may make them different from you. Or your love for other will only improve.
12 . Last but least, as you become more of a body person, it offers you a sense of Life Balance, so you are not only in your thoughts but you begin to experience a body sense of awareness and acceptancy in your daily life. This what living an authentic life is all about, one which most Westerners have lost.
This process is not rogue, watch this video so you can learn the spirituality you can gain through apply Shower Meditation
I have added some Body Acceptance and Self Care Videos Below ~ Enjoy!
Gestalt and who is Fritz Pearls
Kathy Bates on Welcoming Change, after her second chance on life, suggests she found a Fuller Life after Cancer, and I did too.
“After much consideration, I underwent a double mastectomy,” the Academy Award-winning actress reveals.
“Luckily, I don’t have to undergo radiation or chemo.
My family calls me Kat because I always land on my feet and thankfully this is no exception.”
In the August 2017 Parade magazine Kathy Bates, the 69 year old actress struggling with Ovarian and Breast Cancer over the past 14 years, Parade Magazine suggests.
"That Cancer and its aftermath changed her outlook on life profoundly", and she told Parade why.
She has become less reclusive, travels a lot and she said she enjoys every momen in her life more.
She also suggests life is tough on its own, but in spite of its up and down, she tries to be more present and grateful for every good experience that she had, and will have.
I going into my very own cancer experience experienced much of what she discusses too.
After cancer like Kathy, I find that I have been granted a second chance on life.
So what has she started to do that has changed her life. She said she goes on long walks and over time has even lost more than 55 pounds. She suggests that after losing all of that weight she feels more liberated today.
She also suggests to deal with her other desease of Lynohedemia or swelling or the joints, that avoiding both salt and alcohol, has really helped.
She spends more time doing TV than movies she said, and she now has two Yorkies as pets.
On the wild side which I realize too, once you have had cancer it brings us back Kathy and I into what I call as a second life or becoming a child again. So for pleasure she has returned back to playing an electric guitar, She suggest that replaying her guitar brings her a spirit of joy.
As for me, relearning Spanish has been a joy for me. I used to be fluent in both French and Spanish, but because I can use Spanish in the U.S, and I can't use French that I learned living in Canada, that I would mainly relearn Spanish and let my French the language I learned in my youth, go.
It is great we have advancives in medicine and also that we can learning anything we want including Meditation on the Internet, and how to experience true joy, something of which my parents could never enjoy.
Why I believe 2/3rd's of Americans are an Unhappy Lot and How You can Build Your own Happiness, by Designing Your own Self-Happiness Blueprint. Let me Show You NOW, How to Begin.
My goal with writing this post is to illustrate to you how I believe your happiness can be achieved.
But before I tell you my ideas, here is what a recent Harris Poll discovered. It may surprise you.
Did you know that if we examine the recent Harris Poll it was found that only 1/3 or only 100 of the 300 million Americans in the US are truly happy. No wonder there is so much political unrest in the US today. something that we didn't see as evident as we saw in the past, and as we see today.
So what has happened to create such unhappiness of 200 million Americans strong, is what I intend to address here today.
Hopefully, my writing this post is for those 200 miilion unhappy people and I hope to offer any one of you who are apart of this group my solution.
So according to the Harris Poll: “Our happiness index offers insight into what’s on the minds of Americans today and is a reflection of the state of affairs in our country,” Regina Corso, Senior Vice President of the Harris Poll, said in a statement. “While the attitudes on the economy may be improving, we’re seeing that this is not translating into an improvement in overall happiness.
For certain groups, such as minorities, recent graduates and the disabled, they are actually sub-segments of the American population where ‘happiness’ has trended downward in the last couple years.”
The question is that happiness in America is very illusive and is available to only a few. So the question is this, first, what is causing so much grief and unhappiness, and second is there a solution.
If for instance that I were to survey 100 both men and woman who are applying their physical expertise on CBS's Nija Warrior and who spend between 3 - 6 hours a day in preparation, I would suggest that 99 out of 100 would say they were happy. Why would the opposite be happening to these folks?
Another simple test is to look at the life of Jesus, when up to 30 years of age Who would spend at least 80% of his time either as a carpentar or walking for long periods of time. So even in Jesus' day, phyisical endurance was a necessary part of his and everyone who lived during His time, and their existance some element of happiness.
And because I am happy and I have my own personal method of creating happiness within my own life, is that I believe this same answer is available to all human beings, if they are willing to follow these examples and my very own prescription.
Maybe I need to ask, what is your body made up of, if it isn't earth and water, so taking time every day, to get outside, and if possible exerience in nature, is a to my way of thinking a true method of both you and I experiencing life balance and happiness.
So what does it mean by you creating your very own Happiness Gym and what does it have to do with your and my happiness?
What is interesting as I go on my 2 hour walks in the desert each morning at 6 AM something takes place in me. When I did so the other day, the first thing I came upon was a colony of ants. In particular, I also chose this picture so you can see a similar scene in the desert and of where I daily walk.
There are so many physical opportunities around you today many of which the Kings and Queens of the previous era where not able to do. But you have to decide on what sort of activity is your passion.
There is jogging, walking, biking, swimming and even hiking and even climbing, golf and tennis. Whatever means you choose, make sure you do it using your very own consistant method and do it often.
Before you can ever be happy you have to build a solid foundation on which happiness can be built.
However, you can read so many 10 points surveys by googling for your answer, but none of their suggestions I believe will ever provide for you a true foundation. That is why I am sharing with you my idea of you building your very own Happiness Gym of some activity you have a passion to pursue daily.
My purpose in offering you my ideas on you creating your very own Happiness Gym is to provide for you a method I use to experience my own happiness daily.
I wake up every morning at or before 6 AM, and I am on my walk. Just like the ants before me, I believe daily physical activities are essential not only for your health but also for your own happiness.
What I noticed is that at the crack of dawn, not one ant sleeps in, and they are all physically active all day long. What is true for an ant I believe is also true for a human being because we all are a part of nature.
So seeing this ant colony in action it came to my mind isn't that what happiness is all about it's about which is activity? I found when I bumped up my walks from 30 minutes to 2 hours my happiness increased. And not only that but this happiness I experienced throughout the rest of my day.
It is because I believe too many of us, find it easier to sleep in, become less active, by doing as little physcial movement daily as possible. No wonder so many Americans are unhappy.
Then with the added distraction of our rising technologies we tend to spend too much time either watching TV, playing video games, socializing on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram all throughout the day. It is as if our technology if we are not watchful, can in fact, take us away from that physical element and which my friends I blieve is the real foundation of your and my happiness.
No wonder, obesity is on the rise in America, and claiming as many or even more ives, than person's smoking.
What may suprise you is that finding happiness is really SIMPLE. But stay away from those Google happiness gurus that offer you their10 majic ideas, or they tell you to take two pills a day and promising that you will be happy forever. However, all of their advice I am afraid is not only useless but is also way too shallow and humanly unfulfilliing.
So why is my submitting to you that you practice by applying more physical activity throughout your day so important?
It is because if happiness is truly your goal to experiencing happiness but you have to find a method that will work for you best, I have found for myself, that taking 30 minute to 2 hours a day to add physicality of walking as I do each day, has made me a much happier person.
However, you have to find something to do each day that works for you. And why? It's because you have to find a way to get out of your head and away from your iphone each day for your happiness to grow, and the more physical you can become, the more chance your happiness will grow.
And if possible getting your body outdoors and even out into nature will make your body experience so much better. After my 2 hour daily walks, and my being in nature and experiencing plenty of vitamin D3 sunlight, doing so daily makes me smile from ear to ear.
So my philosophy is SIMPLE and it is that I believe that if humans will become more physically active daily that over 21 day of doing some physical activity you like, I promise, it will make you a lot happier.
Another example I submit, is that I didn't have to do a survey to Harris Poll experiment to know this is true, all you have to do is watch children at play. Children are naturally happy but why?
One thing you will notice about children is how physically active they are. Everyone of them doesn't have to be instructed in obtaining happiness like we adults, as to how to be happy. It is injborn in children and in us too (it's just that we have forgotten it). The difference between them and us is that we have lost our happiness along the way.
However it is adults who have fallen from their grace. And it is as Jesus said that it is us adults that need to examine how children live, and recognize that it is their constant mindless activity which they call PLAY, that makes them so happy.
I also believe that because children are not so much into their minds as adults, and because they are so physically active life. is why I believe that their physicality is the wellspring of their happy lives.
It is only when they become adults, is when their happiness declines. And you may be wondering why they are happy and you are not happy. This is where it being simple and is not easy is all about.
When children are young, they are mostly body people and less mind persons. I think that it is that our stinking thinking that we adults practice daily does to us all, and that makes as adults slightly insane. So how does this trend happnen you might say?
It is as adults, and especially as we parents train our children and even send them off to school, and teach them how to think and survive in this world, to get a job etc. it is when their happiness deminishes. In fact, this transition becomes so gradual from you and I being happy to becoming unhappy that most of us adults, have forgotten what happiness is.
Just like I saw in the ant colony in the early morning, ants because they don't have an over developed brain like us humans, they have happiness down to a T, which is another example I am also offering.
But if you will leave out this necessary foundation of inactivty, I promise you this, you will become much more like the other 2/3 of Americans who can and may never be happy.
It is because I believe that action must become an imporant part of who you and I become, because it is a necessary part of your and my human DNA.
And it is about you and I getting our bodies into the best physical shape that we possibly can, as much as you and U can do each and everyday.
Please read these other articles below so will, as for this presentation, I am not alone.
