Ed Sheeran says Why he Ditched his Cell Phone on Ellen DeGeneres Show and how it had changed his life Forever, and how it Might Change Your Life too.
The singer admitted on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that he doesn’t have a phone.
"When he took a break from the spotlight at the beginning of last year, he made the resolution to ditch his cell -- and he’s sticking to it.
"I still don't have a phone number," Ed says. "I bought an iPad and I just work off of email. It's so much less stress. I don't wake up in the morning and have to answer 50 messages of people asking for something."
So what does he do with that free time? "I wake up and have a cup of tea," he says."
First of all, Ed with all of his RED HAIR, I would suggest came from some VIKING roots. He states that he didn't live in London but in the country.
He also told Ellen that when he is taking his year off trip around the world he is not going to the country side of each county that he visits. He says that the real life within a country is in the surounding areas and not in the cities themselves. That is why Ed in heart is really a country bumkin.
So how did "Hygee" or "Cozyness" begin in Denmark. Due to the winter shut ins in Demark, there tended to be a lot of depression and even suicides in Denmark and extreme doctor visits adding up Health Care costs. The Government had to step in and institute a change in its people's lifestyles.
That is when the idea of "Hygee" emerged and the idea of taking TIME OUT and coziness became enacted by the Danish legislators. The funny thing is that it worked and today there are over 50% of its citizens who practice "Coziness" and not only during the winter, but throughout the year.
So what does "Hugee", which is a term used by the Danes and translated into English, which means "Coziness" have to do with Ed's cell phone elimination and year long world tour.
I had to add Ed's RED HAIR to illustrate that though he does not live in Denmark, that his RED VIKING HAIR gives his coziness philosophy away. And because of his countryside lifestyle, coziness is a big part of his personal lifestyle, even for a busy singer who likes to take private time away from the limelight.
Also, I wanted to express my own personal "Coziness" routine that I do each day too. I use a laptop and not a cell phone. I do this so I don't have to spend most of my day texting and answering texts. It is so much easier once receiving an email to decide who I will email back and who I will delete.
The second thing is that is why I go on my TECH TIMEOUT walks to walk away from technology for at least 1 - 2 hours of my morning. Also, after 4 PM, I rarely get on my laptop and I am TECH absent for the rest of my day.
I believe that too much technology can be as addictive and heroin, if not used judiciously. I believe if I am not in control of my time, I am not in control of my life. We are human beings and not machines. So, being human means that each day I have to take a TECH TIME OUT to create more HUMAN TIME to be by myself.
If I were to create another website and choose a topic, it would be about the idea of coziness, and that is because Americans learning to individual take TECH TIMEOUTS is essential to learn and for us human beings to learn how to create a more balanced and happier existance.
