Micro Meditation is what www.women4spirituality.com,
instructs. We teach this method because it is a meditation method that anyone can do.
The goal of meditation is to help everyone gain inner peace by learning this skill which is necessary to move a person from a busier and into a more restful mind.
Thus by living in the present we can live happily and experience a more productive life. We have specifically chosen Micro Meditation is because it can become a skill that even a child can do.
I have added a link below which discusses what happens to a human being within 30 seconds. It is an interesting itinerary of different human experiences of which we are conscious and others we are unconscious of happening.to us within that short period of time,
The idea I would like to discuss here is the idea of a person having 25 thoughts in 30 seconds. Generally speaking we humans are thought addicted. We tend to think a lot about things hoping to gain control and maybe gaining a sense of knowing what could be our future outcome.
The problem is that this EGO mind that tends to rush with so many different scenarios, using the past as it guidance system, tends to be wrong close 90% of the time. Worst still, is that when thoughts continue rushing, fear and unrest tends to become a constant partner.
In fact, worry and fear and even negativity tends to grow the faster our thoughts keep spinning out of control.
So why is Micro Meditation so important? Let’s suppose that somehow, you could slow down your thought processing from 25 down to 12 thoughts or down to a crawl, and you were able to apply this process several times a day, then how would that affect your emotions?
Let’s compare 52 thought in 30 seconds to driving your car on a congested highway bumper to bumper but now by reducing your thought load less 12 thoughts down to 12 thoughts or close to ½ it could act like transitioning from a congested highway onto a less congested neighborhood road.
Wouldn’t slowing things down if let’s say you did this 5 or even 20 times a day, wouldn’t this make your life calmer? Wouldn’t it also create for you a more restful day?
Well that is the power of a 30 second deep breath meditation done several times throughout your day.
Like was said earlier, even a child can meditate this way. And you learning to take these continuous daily timeouts in this same fashion, will totally make a shift from unrest to a state of rest, for you to become a more relaxed human being, from day to day.
