Every morning to set up my day I rise at sunrise. I dress and then go on my morning walk.
What I do on my walk is that I try not to walk quickly but slowly.
My walks have become a wonderful practice to create a better day.
Let me explain what I learned that might help better your day.
Next, I will walk under a tree to meditate or sit on a park bench and meditate too. I will purposely create my 30 second Micro Meditations right on each spot.
I will walk between 1 - 2 miles during the day where I will create 2 -30 second practice coming to and returning from my destination and adding at least 4 Meditation practices, 2 each way. I will do my walks in the spring, summer and fall seasons before I head for work. I also during the winter season; will do my meditations at home when it is rainy or and cold.
I follow this practice as a form of insurance to get a jump on each day.
In fact, my sunrise meditations walk; is better than purchasing life insurance, because I find every time I do it, I breathe healthier, plus, 80% of my day becomes amazing grace. And it is so beneficial to the rest of my day that you should try it too.
If you are too busy during the morning, you can also add this same routine after returning from work. I find that either way early morning or in the late afternoon, this daily practice adds a tremendous impact on my personal well-being and on enriching my life.
