I believe that one reason that people in the US have problems with constipation is we eat not enough fruits and vegetables, and too much processed foods, and don’t drink enough fluids and in particular water. Eating fruits like watermelon, honeydew and cantaloupe can provide not only vitamins but also a lot more water to not only reduce constipation but also reduce dehydration.
I also believe that if we drank more fluids that we would become less sickly and receive greater health benefits. It took 2 cancers to get me to recognize the importance of drinking lots water daily.
