Woman within ~ How a Change in Scenery ALONE, can Put Addictions, and even Depression away, so a Woman can Return back Home inside herself again; Refreshed
Ernest Hemingway – in one of his more influential works, For Whom the Bell Tolls – once wrote, “The world is a fine place and worth the fighting for and I hate very much to leave it.”
If you have or have not been a follower of a Hallmark movie series, well here is a story or one similar to it. Somehow a burned out New York Investment banker woman, begins to feel she is going nowhere, so she decides to answer a personal ad in the NY Times, to meet a rancher in Colorado who has just lost his wife.
Notice, the romance never is where the rancher comes to NY. But she gets out of town, and goes to the ranch and with a change in scenery, and notice what magically appears over and over, eventually she finds herself, and a whole new world opens to her.
My view, is why watch a Hallmark movie, or going to the bar like everyone does to meet, if you can get out of town to renew yourself, whether for a weekend, or a week or two, to find your HOME which is inside of you, which I believe, is a better scenario.
I believe that a woman should get out of town, to maybe the country, let down her hair, wear NO makeup and be her true self, and become a true actor, and where she is no longer a spectator.
I have personally found how going to a new place, even if only a few miles away, and getting some rest can do wonders. I have gone to a town about 100 miles away from where I live. And especially if the scenic beauties are somewhat different or let’s say you are from the city and kind of can get out into the country, being there even if only a few miles away can do wonders.
I believe in some cases getting away a hundred miles and returning home rested, is in many cases much better than traveling thousands of miles, running from one airport to airport, and finally driving home in heavy traffic, and then requiring a day or two off to rest, after returning home isn’t my ideal vacation.
To me it is much better to go a few miles away, and return back fully relaxed and ready to meet the next few weeks or months with a new perspective. That is why I prefer shorter visits.
In fact, I would suggest keeping you costs down, have two or three close by locations and gain different life experiences. That way, one time you might go fishing at a lake, another time, you might go see a wild animal park, another week go visit the ocean. Each experience though it’s close-by, can become very rewarding and you can return home fully relaxed, and a new person.
Think about how doing this on a regular basis, may even reduce your stress, improve overall your health, and may even if you believe in living “The Law of Attraction”, may overtime, create for you as you return better business ideas, to even increase your financial holdings.
So whatever you decide, remember the adage, “All work and no play (relaxation) makes Jane a dull girl.” So please, take time here and there to unwind, and make your life joyful.
